Physics
This is my physics notebook and inside I put all of my notes that I take for the class. Although, the notes are given to the class as worksheets and the notes are written down for us already, except there are blanks throughout the notes that we have to fill in. The class then tries to fill in each blanks together and answers the questions that are asked to us by Mr. Carr, our physics teacher. These notes are very useful when you are doing the homework or when you are doing the lab. The homework that is given to us is usually very complicated and having the notes to help guide us through he homework is very helpful. Without the notebook, I would of had a hard time in the class. This was the first time I had seen a lecture like this. It changed the way I learned the subject and it was more of a challenged. It caused me to think more and sometimes confused me but, after the lecture I usually understand the concepts well enough to do the assignments given to us.
This is a lab that I have done with my physics group in physics class. First we had one member of our group ride a small tricycle and follow the circuit that was given to us. The other group members were to record the times of the markers that I had passed while following the circuit. Our group were to then find the velocity at each of the places where I was timed and plot the information that we found onto a graph. We were to graph the information on these four different graphs: displacement vs. time, velocity vs. time, distance vs. time, and speed vs. time. This lab was one of the first labs that I had done in this class and it was a lab that was not very hard to do. It was a memorable lab because I was the one who rode the small tricycle. This lab made me remember the fun there is in science and how labs can be fun while you are doing them. After doing this lab I now know that there is a difference between speed and velocity even though they have similar definitions.
